Yes, This IS Rocket Science!
This six-session workshop will teach you important concepts in rocket science! You will use these concepts to design your own rocket on a computer, run flight simulations, and print a parts list and plans. Then we will help you build your rocket from scratch. (Price of workshop covers all materials to build a basic rocket.)

Extra time and help is available after each class.
Appropriate for adults or children ages 12 and up. Younger children may participate if accompanied by an adult. Adult and child may attend for a single price.
Bring your own computer to the course, or you may use one of ours at the facility. It must be capable of downloading a software package called OpenRocket and running Java. No Chromebooks. If you are sending your child to this workshop, be sure they have the password to install software. Or, you are welcome to download OpenRocket and Java on your own ahead of time.
To launch your rocket, join us on any of three Saturdays in Acton MA, TBA. (Small launch fee may apply at the field. You may use your own engines or purchase them from us at the field.)
