Enrichment for National Latin Exam (NLE)

Enrichment for National Latin Exam (NLE) – A Half-Year Latin I course with a focus on preparation for the National Latin Exam (NLE) for grades 5-8. Hybrid course (online and in-person).  Ideally taken from beginning, but it is possible to jump in late, after the course has begun.

National Latin Exam Focus

The National Latin Exam (NLE) is a measure of success that looks good on school and college applications and may lead to scholarships. This course will cover all the major concepts that will be on the NLE, provide practice material and techniques for scoring high, and help students gain confidence.

This course will increase your student’s chances of scoring high and getting a certificate or award medal on the National Latin Exam. In 2024 the national exam will be administered the first two weeks of March.

We are beginning to take requests for classes in the 2023-2024 school year. Call to inquire.

At the end of this course, a student who is new to Latin will be able to take the national INTRODUCTION TO LATIN EXAM. A student who has had some previous Latin experience will be able to take the national BEGINNING LATIN EXAM.
